Terms of Service

Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service

ProMax Appliances Repair provides diagnostic and repair services through vetted, independent partner technicians. These partners are not employees but operate under agreed quality standards and conduct policies. Services include troubleshooting and repair of major household appliances — primarily refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, and ranges. If a customer cancels or reschedules with short notice (e.g., less than 2 hours before arrival), arrives late, or cannot provide safe access to the appliance, the visit may be treated as a completed service call and the Service Call Fee may apply.

2. Service Call Fee

A standard non-refundable Service Call Fee of $100 applies to all visits where no repair is provided. If repair service is completed during the visit, this fee is waived. The fee covers technician travel, assessment, and initial diagnostics. If the technician determines no repair is needed/possible or the customer declines the repair, the Service Call Fee applies.

3. Payment and Refunds

Payment is due after service is completed. If a service cannot be performed, the Service Call Fee still applies. Refunds for service payments (not including the fee) must be requested within 24 hours. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Warranty & Follow-Ups

Replacement parts may be covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty, if applicable. Any workmanship guarantee is not automatic and applies only when explicitly stated in writing on the invoice or work order, including the specific coverage period and terms. Unless a workmanship guarantee is stated on the invoice/work order, services are provided “as is” and any return visit will be treated as a new service request and may be subject to applicable diagnostic/service fees. Warranty coverage does not apply to misuse, normal wear, improper installation, pre-existing conditions, or failures unrelated to the original repair.

5. Service Limitations

ProMax partner technicians provide all repair services required to restore appliance functionality, excluding welding, electrical rewiring, or other complex procedures. Installations of new appliances may be offered when relevant to repairs. Customers are responsible for removing personal items around the appliance and backing up any stored settings/data where applicable. ProMax and its partner technicians are not responsible for loss of food, water/ice leakage caused by pre-existing conditions, or incidental/consequential damages outside what is required by law.

6. Liability

ProMax Appliances Repair is not liable for pre-existing damage, improper appliance installation by third parties, or any loss resulting from service delays caused by external factors. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to provide safe access and accurate information regarding appliance history.

7. Independent Service Provider, Brand/Trademark Notice

ProMax Appliance Repair (DBA TRG ProMax LLC) is an independent appliance repair service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any appliance manufacturer. Any brand names, logos, or trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the types of appliances serviced.
